1. Information We Collect

MedDose Pro collects minimal information necessary to provide clinical reference services:

Account Information: Email address and authentication provider (Google or Email/Password) via Firebase Auth.
Usage Data: AI query counts (token usage), feature access logs, and subscription tier status stored in Firebase Firestore.
Clinical Queries: AI assistant queries are processed through DeepSeek API. We do NOT store the content of your clinical queries on our servers — queries are ephemeral and processed in-transit only.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and maintain the MedDose Pro service
To enforce subscription tier limits (RxCredits, AI token caps)
To comply with legal obligations
To improve our services through anonymized usage analytics

3. HIPAA Compliance

MedDose Pro is designed with HIPAA-aligned architecture. All clinical data is processed client-side where possible. When AI queries are sent to our backend, they are stripped of personally identifiable information (PII) before transmission. We implement role-based access controls and audit logging.

Important: MedDose Pro is an educational and reference tool. It is NOT a HIPAA-covered entity. Do NOT enter protected health information (PHI) with patient identifiers.

4. Data Storage & Security

User data is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud Platform) with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is managed through Firebase Auth with industry-standard security practices.

5. Third-Party Services

DeepSeek API: AI language model processing
PayPal: Payment processing
Cloudflare: CDN and DNS services

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will comply within 30 days as required by applicable law.
